After exploring the borders between rock and Cuban son, a trip to Greece has led this Aragonese artist to reinterpret and adapt into Spanish a selected repertoire of 20th-century Greek songs by the Athenian singer and guitarist Theodoros Karellas and the bouzouki player Vaggelis Tzeretas, thus drawing an intimate dialogue between languages and traditions.
Santiago Auserón returns with ‘Nerantzi’, a new album that will take a set of ballads, popular rebétiko and recent compositions from one side of the Mediterranean to the other and which he will present on November 22 at Cruïlla Tardor 2025!

The ex-singer of Radio Futura will present this new work, which was recorded in Athens and includes the participation of prominent Greek musicians and also the Spanish singer Anni B. Sweet. We have already heard their first preview, “El Desdén”, which allows us to imagine what this tribute to Greek music will sound like.
