The Chévere of Salsa

Born in Havana, Issac Delgado is one of the most prominent figures in Cuban popular dance music. From his earliest artistic steps, rhythm followed him as an inevitable destiny. His professional career began with legendary groups such as the Pacho Alonso Orchestra and NG La Banda, where his voice left an indelible mark and helped define the modern sound of timba.

In 1990, he embarked on his solo journey with the album Dando la hora, marking the start of a solid career that would make him one of the great icons of contemporary salsa and tropical music. And this January 29th, we’ll have the privilege of dancing and living it live at Sala Apolo!
